Why we use silicon dioxide powder into elastic coating? Is there has any relationship between them?

First, elastic coating belongs to a functional coating which is mainly used in industrial areas. The main ingredients of elastic coating

are resin coating,pigment, filler and chemical additive. Our silicon dioxide powder is used as chemical additive in elastic coating.

1) Improving elastic coating's flexibility and scrtaches resistance: elastic coating can cover small cracks caused by expansion or

movement of the substrate, thus preventing the coating from cracking. What's more, elastic coatings have good flexibility and can

maintain appropriate modulus and tensile strength when stretched, adapting to the deformation of the substrate caused by different

temperature changes.So when adding silicon dioxide into elastic coating can improve coating's flexibility,scratches resistance and acid

and organic solvent resistance. For example, our SS-320L silicon dioxide can not only has excellent matte effect, but also enhance

coating's flexibility which is properly suitable to use in elastic coating.

2) Changing elastic coating's hand-feeling and appearance: silicon dioxide powder is used as chemical Matting Agent in elastic coating.

It has not only high matting efficiency but also makes the coating being transparent and the coating surface is plump and feels good.

SS-320L multifunctional organic matting powder fundamentally improves the elasticity, feel and surface hardness of the paint film by

cross-linking reaction with the paint resin.
