HA-80 Matt Hardener

HA-80 matt hardener is the salts of polycarboxylic acid with cyclic amidine. The hardener, applied in suitable formulations can produce
epoxy or hybrid powder coating for matt or semi-matt gloss with very good flow and properties. Variation between matt and semi-matt
surface can be obtained by means of suitable adjustment of formulation.
Matting curing agents are mainly used to adjust the gloss of coatings to achieve a matte or semi-gloss effect. This effect is usually achieved
by destroying the microscopic flatness of the coating surface, thereby reducing the gloss and obtaining a low-gloss coating surface. Matting
curing agents are widely used in epoxy resin or epoxy polymer resin powder coatings to give the coating a super matte surface with excellent
mechanical properties and good reproducibility.
In addition, matting curing agents are also widely used in industrial coatings, such as metal and plastic finishing, mainly for anti-reflective,
appearance and fashion purposes. They can also be used in UV-curing coating systems to improve the mechanical strength and chemical
resistance of the coating.
Matting curing agents reduce the gloss of the coating through chemical reactions or physical methods, and are widely used in various coating
systems that require low-gloss effects to meet decorative and functional needs.
