HF-65 Matt Hardener

Matt hardener is one of powder state chemcial materials. Its main function is to destroy coating surface's microscopic flatness to

reduce the gloss of the coating.This type of Curing Agent is usually composed of two or more curing agents with different reactivity,

and the difference in reaction speed and product compatibility between them is used to achieve the matting effect.

In hybrid powder coatings, the coating has a super matte surface.

In terms of application, matting curing agents are widely used in the field of powder coatings, especially in situations where low-gloss

decorative effects are required. For example, in outdoor durable powder coatings, matting curing agents can not only provide good

matting effects, but also improve the weather resistance and mechanical strength of the coating.

Overall, the application of matting curing agents in powder coatings has significant decorative and practical properties. It destroys

the flatness of the coating surface through a chemical reaction mechanism, thereby achieving a matting effect, and exhibits excellent

comprehensive performance in different types of coating systems.

HF-65 Matt Hardener is suitable for 50/50, 60/40 hybrid systems. Normally select 50/50 polyester with slow reactivity, for low gloss,

better mechanical performance and storage ability.The combination of different kind of polyester resins with different acid

value may lead to the very good matting effect, weak selectivity to polyester resin.

Appearance: white or yellowish powder Soft point: 100-140°C

Solid content: Min. 99.0%

Wax free Matting Agent, good recoat ability.

The gloss level varies from the selected polyester resin and the applied formulation.

Normally the dosage of HF65 is from 1 to 4.5% based on the total powder coating.
