reduce the weight of paper by 10%, which can not only make the paper thinner, but also improve the strength of the paper. In addition to preventing ink
penetration and making printed text clear, it can also increase opacity.
Silicon dioxide has contact properties. Adding a small amount of silicon dioxide to the coating can eliminate the dripping precipitation of the coating. In the
unsaturated polyester coating, as long as a concentration of 0.5~2% of silicon dioxide is added, the coating will not have droplets and wrinkles when 500g/m2
is applied on the vertical surface each time. Adding silicon dioxide to the pigment can not only prevent the pigment from settling, but also improve the adsorption
and dispersibility of the pigment and dye. When used as a filler in emulsified coatings, it can improve thermal stability.
