SS-750L Silicon Dioxide

The applications of using silica Matting Agent in elastic coating is to form a rough surface upon the coating by disperation of its tiny particle

size silica. Forming a rough surface on the coating can reduce the situation of mirror reflection and at the same time, it can also scatter the

light to reduce glossy value to achieve the matting effect. This silica matting agent has excellent dispersibility, compatibility and suspension

can be evenly distributed in the coating without significantly affecting the transparency and mechanical properties of the coating film.

Adding silica matting agent into elastic coating can improve coating's fullness, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and anti-deposition

performance. Besides, silica matting agent that is treated with organic treatment can provide better anti-suspension performance and

scratches resistance which is improtant to high level elastic coating.

Different types of silica matting agent are suitable to use in different coating systems including water-based coating, eco-solvent coating,

radiation curing coating and two-component coating.

In addition, adding silica matting agent into elastic coating can not only reduce glossy effectively but also improve coating's whole properties

and makes it suitable to use in different areas.
