What is eco solvent ink?
Eco solvent ink is also called as eco friendly ink which is a new type and popular ink that used in outdoor inkjet ink market.

This ink has several advantages like high safety, low volatility,low toxic content and high flash point.

Comparing with solvent ink, the biggest advantage of eco solvent ink is eco friendly. The reason why we consider it as an 

eco friendly ink is because it has lower volatile matter VOC than other ink. And it is no need to set ventilation equipment

How can silica Matting Agent works in eco solvent ink?

Silica matting agent is an additive that used in eco solvent ink. The main function of it is to change the surface properties of 

ink. Normally it is used in the ink which is expected to create a more tactile or textured finished surface. Its operating principle 

is to add small particle silica dioxide powder into eco solvent ink's formulation. Below are the working functions of adding silica 

matting agent into eco solvent ink.

1. Change the ink's surface properties: silica matting agent will fill the ink's surface irregular struture or create a micro protective 

structure to form a physical barrier. This can make to decrease the printed goods glossy and change it into matte surface.

2. Increase the ink's adhesion: silica particles can improve the adhesive properties of ink which can help to fix the ink better. 

Though this way, making the ink have stronger adhesive property and better resistance to fouling or fragmentation
